Yeah, the house is a little empty now, as it is summer and everyone is out for some fun in the sun. Except perhaps our little puppies, who love to watch the TV. Still, we made sure the house was clean and tidy before we left. Hopefully it still is when we get back. Be good, puppies!

Preparing the Garden Party

Solo Vacation?

Anyone's done a solo vacation? I haven't, but I kind of think that it might be a great idea every once in a while. To getaway from your routine, see a new place, experience something new just by yourself. I think that there's a chance a solo vacation can make you yourself again, and that's refreshing! Tea for Unity!

Tea is a popular drink almost everywhere in the world. You can find various kinds of tea around the world, and they may have varying tea culture. The concept of tea culture is referred to in Chinese as chayi ("the art of drinking tea"), or cha wenhua ("tea culture"). 

One of the occasions when people in China drink tea is to celebrate wedding! In the traditional Chinese marriage ceremony, the bride and groom kneel in front of their respective parents and serve them tea and then thank them, which is a devout way to express their gratitude for being raised. On some occasions, the bride serves the groom's family, and the groom serves the bride's family. This process symbolizes the joining together of the two families. 

Note : I took the information from Wikipedia - I am not really familiar with Chinese tea customs. But I can definitely enjoy doing this in SL with this set! <3

Chilling in the water on a lovely morning...finally time to relax after a tiring week. Listening to the sound of the birds chirping, the wind blowing, and the water flowing...and suddenly the narqueen comes to play! She's gonna put a hole on our buoys! Paddle and splash for your life! One Lazy Morning
